Astor received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and stayed on to receive his veterinary degree in 2007. He then completed a rotating small animal internship followed by a small animal surgical internship and residency at Garden State Veterinary Specialists in Tinton Falls, NJ. He became board certified in 2013 and has been in practice in the Chicago area and New York City before moving back to the greater Philadelphia area. He enjoys all aspects of veterinary surgery including orthopedics, soft-tissue, and neurologic surgery. Outside of work Astor enjoys spending time with his wife, three sons, and his cat Chui.
